Rio - Looking for a new home.

Rio was born in 2008. He’s a medium sized Border Collie X. He’s a very nice dog and is clever, active and loves cuddles. He also is microchipped.
Rio is great with other dogs and also cats. He currently lives with 2 cats and was previously in a household with two other male dogs.
Rio and his companions were left “home alone” when his owners returned to the UK, supposedly for just a 10 day visit. A kind neighbour offered to look after the animals. It now transpires that the owners are unable to return to Spain for the time being and have asked for them to be rehomed.
Rio needs a bit more training, but being a typically bright Border Collie he learns quickly. He knows and obeys the basic commands like "sit". He is not used to walking on a lead, however walking him off the lead is no problem at all - he won't run away.
It would be great to find a nice home for Rio as soon as possible. He deserves it!
