Dana was born November 2005. She’s a St Bernard mix; a large gentle, 3 legged dog.
Dana was wrongly treated and neglected by her previous owners. Unfortunately because of this she had to have her front leg amputated. She is microchipped, but has now been signed over to her foster carer.
Dana’s plight captured the heart of many kind people who raised funds to help pay for the operation.
Dana manages very well on her 3 legs and loves to run and play, but she doesn’t need long walks as she finds it too much like hard work! She gets on very well with the other dogs and cats in her foster home.
Despite all she’s been through Dana has a lovely nature and so deserves to be loved and cared for in a loving home.
